About Us

We are BSA Scouts Troop 128 Girls. We are chartered by St. John’s Episcopal Church in McLean, VA. We are chartered under the same committee as BSA Scouts 128 Boys and Crew 128.

We were chartered the first day BSA Scout girls troops could be created on February 1, 2019. We started with six scouts and have grown to 15 after one year. We do awesome activities. It’s scouts, so lots of it is outdoors. We’ve gone camping, hiking, and biking. We attended summer camp, gone horseback riding, and ice skating. We have lots of fun and learn a lot of outdoor skills, including being safe outside and good stewards for our environment.

We’re always looking for interested girls to join us. The best way to meet us is to come to one of our 7:30 pm Monday meetings. The church is located at 6715 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA. Anytime is great to jump in and experience BSA Scouts. Twice a year we do hold open house events specifically geared towards prospective scouts.

We’ll also attend Back to Schools Nights in the Fall at a number of local schools.

We look forward to seeing you!
